Your choice
On a first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept optional reading preferences, reject them, or open settings. Reading, search and navigation work if you reject optional storage. This package uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The preference cookie is created only after you make a choice.

The exact behavior of WordPress administration cookies can depend on the installation and logged-in user. They are separate from the reader preference feature. Server logs are not browser cookies and are described in the Privacy Policy.
Accept, reject or change settings
Selecting Accept optional allows this browser to save an article path, scroll-position fraction and timestamp when you read an article. Selecting Reject optional leaves the optional feature off and removes any saved reading-position record created by this site in the current browser. The choice cookie remembers your selection for up to 180 days.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice later. You can also delete the cookie or local storage from browser settings. Removing the preference cookie means the site may ask for a new choice; removing storage does not change hosting logs or email already sent.
With JavaScript disabled, optional reading-position storage is not used. The articles and policy links remain available. The package does not use an external consent-management provider.
Videos and other software
The bundled explainers are local MP4 files with local poster images and text tracks. The player does not autoplay and does not embed YouTube or another third-party player. The site’s preference control manages only the optional reading-position feature; it is not a universal blocker for scripts or cookies added by another plugin, hosting service, CDN or tag manager.
Before adding analytics, ad tags, remote video or other software, the publisher should inspect what it adds, update the storage table and privacy notice, and test any consent controls that apply. This policy describes the supplied package and is not a legal determination.
